DenSureFit Snug-Up Kit

DenSureFit, the popular denture adhesive alternative, helps denture wearers achieve a snug and comfortable fit between their dentures and gums. If you’re new to this product, you might wonder why it comes in multiple tubes and how many are needed for your dentures.

Are the Multiple Tubes Different?

First, it’s essential to note that all DenSureFit kits contain the same type of silicone and can be used on either upper or lower dentures. The quantity of silicone needed depends on the looseness of your denture and if you will apply it to an upper, lower, or both dentures. Generally, a moderately loose upper denture will require two or three applicator tubes of silicone, and a lower denture will need one or two. Slightly loose dentures may only need one to get a snug fit.

What if I Don’t Use All the Silicone?

As each situation is unique, you may only use part of a silicone tube. It’s important to understand that once opened, the silicone in the applicator will solidify inside the tip within a few minutes. This does not mean any remaining liquid in the tubes needs to be wasted. If you end up with a half-full tube, leave the applicator tip in place. Remember, DenSureFit is buildable. You can add another layer of silicone when your denture gets loose. That’s what we call a Snug-up. Just make sure the denture is clean and completely dry before adding more DenSureFit. No primer is required to add another layer of silicone. You only need to apply primer to exposed acrylic.

When it’s time for a sung-up, replace the original tip with a Snug-Up Tip to use the remaining silicone. By providing multiple tubes, DenSureFit ensures you have enough silicone for a perfect fit without wasting any product.

By using DenSureFit regularly, you will better know how much product is required to give you the perfect fit between your dentures and gums. Suppose your upper dentures only need one or two tubes to get a snug fit. In that case, you can order a Lower Kit to save money and avoid ordering excess applicators. If your lower only needs one tube, you can save the extra tube for a snug-up or a replacement application. The silicone used in DenSureFit for the upper and lower dentures is identical. Only the quantity of applicator tubes varies between the two kits.

DenSureFit comes in multiple tubes to ensure you have enough silicone to create a perfect fit for your dentures without wasting any product. You can easily replace your liner or add another layer of silicone when your denture gets loose by keeping extra tubes on hand.
