How to Use the DenSureFit Snug Up Kit

DenSureFit Snug-Up Application Guide (5ml Kit)

Kit Includes:

• 1 x 5ml DenSureFit Silicone Applicator
• 3 x Mixing Tips

Step-by-Step Instructions

STEP 1: Clean, Rinse, and Dry Your Denture

• Use Dawn Dish Soap or a similar soap free of moisturizers and conditioners.
• Rinse thoroughly.
• Dry completely.

STEP 2: Apply Silicone

• Attach a new mixing tip to the applicator.
• For Uppers:
  • Express a small amount of silicone to the middle of the inner wall of the denture, just above the trough.
• For Lowers:
  • Express a small amount of silicone to the middle of both interior walls of the denture.
  • Use only what’s needed to fill new voids from gum shrinkage.

STEP 3: Seat Your Denture

For Uppers:

• Place directly into your mouth and press upward into your suction spot.
• Suck your thumb for one minute.
• Continue pressing upward with medium pressure for three more minutes (4 minutes total).

For Lowers:

• Align the denture on your lower gum ridge.
• Bite down gently in your natural bite position.
• Check your bite in the mirror—upper and lower front teeth should align.
• Bite down with medium pressure for 4 minutes.

STEP 4: Assess the Fit

• Remove and test suction/snugness.
• If the denture feels secure, you're done.
• If not, repeat with a small amount of additional silicone. Avoid overbuilding.

STEP 5: Trim the Excess

• Use small cuticle scissors to trim any loose, hanging, or uncomfortable areas of silicone.
• Do NOT trim flashing that feels comfortable—it may help with your seal.

Important Storage Tip:

Leave the used mixing tip ON the applicator between uses. Silicone will cure inside the tip and seal the applicator, keeping the rest of the material fresh.

• If your denture is still loose after using two tips.
